Our Kimono experience at Sensoji temple, Tokyo.
Kimono is a beautiful traditional Japanese dress. When in Japan you should try wearing Kimono to fulfill your experience of the Japanese culture. It is very easy to do it in Tokyo.
You just need to find a Japanese Kimono rental shop. You can even do it online. We found a shop near the popular Sensoji Temple, in Asakusa, Tokyo. On the date of the reservation visit the shop, choose your favorite color and pattern of the clothe you want to drape. The staff of the shop will do everything else, starting from hair and accessories. It took the staff only 20 minutes to put this beautiful clothe on me. Then we were out walking and getting the vibe of Sensoji temple. Maisha chose a pattern with flowers and autumn leaves in red color because of her love for nature and vibrant colors. Adnan went with a black and golden pattern. The rental was 7000yen/person and the time you can wear varies according to the shop you choose.
The background of the Sensoji temple in red color and the color of our Kimonos looked great in the photos. Photos at Sensoji can never go wrong and it always comes out gorgeous.
